Bengaluru's climate is kinder than most Indian cities year-round, which is exactly why the "best" season question is really a pricing and availability question more than a weather one.

Peak season (November-February)

Cool, dry, and comfortable for outdoor ceremonies — which is also why it's the most booked window of the year. Premium venues get reserved 10-12 months out for these dates, and pricing sits at its highest. If your date is flexible, this is the season to book earliest.

Shoulder season (March-April, September-October)

Warmer but still workable, especially for evening ceremonies. Venue availability opens up meaningfully, and you'll often see better negotiating room on pricing since planners aren't fielding five other couples for the same weekend.

Monsoon (June-August)

The least booked window, and the one where you'll get the steepest discounts — but it requires real contingency planning for outdoor elements. A garden wedding in August needs a covered backup plan, not an optional one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you actually save money by getting married in monsoon season?

Yes, meaningfully — many venues discount 15-25% for June-August bookings, though you should budget extra for weatherproofing (tenting, covered walkways) that would otherwise be unnecessary.

How far ahead should we book for a peak-season date?

10-12 months for a popular venue on a Saturday in December or January. Weekday dates in the same season are far more flexible even at 4-6 months out.
